Mining DERO
==============================================

.. note::
Solo mining is mining alone, your hashrate alone is what drives your chances to solve a block against the rest of the network. In order to do this you need to run your own node (href-> https://docs.dero.io/rtd_pages/basic_runderofullnode.html or other location). [There is a bootstrap available at https://blockchain.dero.network/ if you want to speed up a little, however a full sync usually is best regardless (but entirely up to you).]

Pool mining is pooling hashrates of 2 or more 'miners' to work together in order to solve the next block. While some pools have large hashrates and others have small hashrates, usually on average over time the luck of finding blocks evens out for a majority of pools with respect to their hashrates. Maybe some bits on pplns/pps/prop? Idk. Choose a pool that best fits your acceptable fee, latency, etc. Some publicly available pools can be found here: https://miningpoolstats.stream/dero

DERO will be using AstroBWT CPU mining algo created by DERO Project.
